The grapevine has it that the heroine is likely to be the stunningly good-looking Angela Johnson, who graced the January month on Kingfisher Calendar 2011. Angela has a Chennai connect as she was born in Chennai to an Icelandic father and Mangalorean mother. The bombshell is said to be a good dancer and is just 20 years old. Angela Johnson had been more in news for her alleged linkup with the hot and happening Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor than her professional goings.
A massive countrywide hunt was on by the local media to name Vijay’s new heroine for his film with AR Murgadoss.
Some of the names tossed around included Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra!
Well now it looks like none of these girls are any longer in the race, as they have all got big Hindi film commitments for the next 18 months. Vijay is very particular about who plays the heroine in his
films.

When Murgadoss offered her the role in his next Vijay film, she is said to have jumped at it. There is a belief that those girls who make their debut in Tamil films opposite a big star or directed by a noted filmmaker, may make it big in Bollywood!
Angela Johnson can take a leaf out of Aishwarya Rai (Mani Ratnam’s Iruvar) or Priyanka Chopra (Tamizhan opposite Vijay)’s career graph and see where they have reached after doing a Tamil film.
Remember Katrina Kaif the current numero uno in Bollywood after her disastrous debut with Boom in Hindi, came to Telugu and reworked her career with the super hit Telugu Malleswari with Venkatesh!
Murgadoss and Vijay could not be reached for their comment. The Murgadoss- Vijay starrer will start rolling from October first week in Chennai, when an official announcement will be made regarding the film
and the heroine.
