LONG EXPOSURES OF WIFI SIGNALS CAPTURE THE GHOSTLY FORMS OF THE WIRELESS WORLD

Using long exposure photography to bring WiFi signals to life, Newcastle University student Luis Hernan, created a series of images featuring voluminous, glowing rainbowed forms, floating in mid-air. The project titled "Spirit Photographs—Wireless Spectre", is a performative and photographic exploration of Hertzian Space. The pictures result from describing the space through a performance with the Kirlian Device, which transforms signal strength in light colour (reds for high intensity, blues for low intensity).

29 Sumo Wrestlers Were on a Plane — Be Thankful You Weren’t

Twenty-nine sumo wrestlers on a plane sounds like the beginning of a joke or a scene left on the cutting room floor for one of the ‘Naked Gun’ movies, but it actually happened.
Twenty-nine sumo wrestlers indeed flew on the same plane to attend a meet in Tokyo and there’s even a picture to prove it. The plane was so packed flight attendants couldn’t walk through to offer beverage service. Insert jumbo jet joke here:

There were 29, which is an odd number. You know what that means, right? Some normal-sized person probably got stuck sitting under next to one of them. Good  luck squeezing through to use the bathroom.
Quite frankly, we’re surprised this flight hasn’t rekindled the debate about whether overweight people should be required to buy two seats.
